Mick Fleetwood’s Island Rumours Band

Working with a rock icon like Mick Fleetwood is very exciting. This job started as a Branding job for Mick’s new Maui island band, the island Rumours Band. When designing this logo it was a no-brainer to go back to the great rumors album and incorporate 1977 Fleetwood Mac with modern day Polynesia. Working closely with Mick, we took the iconic balls, the timeless shilouette of Mick himself, and mixed it with a coconut tree (Coconuts, represent balls, and the coconut base is often used as a pahu drum here in Hawaii!). We then stylized Micks name to be similar to the great typography from the Fleetwood Mac albums and mixed in some island flair!!
